Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of the US female Olympic gymnastics The 2012 Fierce 5 team, and in 2016. She was named the Final Five. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics, in London. She also brought home a bronze medal on the balance beam. She was the first Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. At the 2016, Olympics she was awarded a gold medal in the team event which earned her and teammate Gabby Douglas the honour of being as the only Americans to win back-to-back teams gold medals. In addition, she won two silver medals in the floor exercise and individual all-around. Between the two Olympics she took off from competitive gymnastics during three consecutive years. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American team in two World Championships. Her favourite event is dance on the floor. Gymnastics was her first sport she began to learn in the year she turned two years old. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who passed away due to cancer. She hopes to build a career by avoiding fashion. Also, she would like to extend her leotards line and socks collection. Fierce is her first book, which will be released later in the year.
